1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase. Users under 18 may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Products, pricing and availability

We strive to display products and prices accurately, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, refuse or cancel any order, limit quantities and discontinue products at any time without notice. All prices are in U.S. Dollars and do not include applicable sales tax or shipping unless stated.

4. Orders and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or reject. Your order is accepted when we charge your payment method and send a confirmation email. Payments are processed by Square, Inc. By submitting payment information, you authorize the charge of the total order amount.

We may use fraud-prevention tools and may cancel any order we suspect is fraudulent or violates these Terms.

5. Shipping and returns

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Refund & Return Policy, both incorporated by reference.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the Confiar name, logo, designs, photographs, text, artwork and trade dress, is owned by Confiar or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. User content

If you submit reviews, photos or other content, you grant Confiar a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display that content in connection with the operation and promotion of the site. You represent that the content is yours and does not infringe any third-party right.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to bypass security or interfere with the site's operation;
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools without our written permission;
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person;
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing or harmful.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONFIAR AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Confiar and its affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the site.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Dispute resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us at hello@confiar.store. The parties will then have 30 days to resolve the dispute before any formal action is initiated.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time for any reason, with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
